We were all shocked, saddened and appalled to hear of Kobe and Gianna Bryant's tragic helicopter accident. We recently framed an autographed "Bryant 24" jersey for a custome. Framing a valuable collector's item not only provides a way to display it safely, but when using preservation framing techniques, actually protects it from time and the elements. The jersey is tacked to an acid free yellow backing then floated in the well an elevated, custom shaped acid free mat. The white-on-white frame over mat design is gives the jersey a very clean and minimal, yet dignified, look. We've used Optium Museum Acrylic to reduce glair and filter out UV damaging light. |
| A customer brought in this signed "Curry 30" jersey along with the licensed photograph and logo. We created a layout, cutting circular window mats in two layers of acid free matting for the photograph and logo which are floated above the jersey material (click here to see a larger version and details). The jersey itself has been hand-sewn to the acid-free backing. The whole is protected with UV filtering acrylic glazing. |

Jersey's In One Frame
These three jerseys were framed as awards for the Biletnikoff Foundation. The Jersey's are hand sewn to a black backing. A shaped mat with extra openings for black and silver metal plaques is cut. Beneah it is a second, silver mat. These upper mats are elevated to allow room for the Jerseys to sit comfortably within the black wood frame.
