The Prisma Design Process — Design Your Own UniqueFrame! BELLA Designer Options

Above are four subtly different designs for a beautiful high fashion photograph.* The design process is done using your original artwork, physical samples that show true color of the materials and, if you wish, uploading of a digital file to an online service which allows us to experiment with hundreds of design options. To learn more about this design process, scroll down. *Fashion design by Qiu Hao.
Design Step 1 Design Step 2
The first step in the design process is uploading a digital image file, we set the height and width of the image, then choose the thickness, frame face width and frame lip style. Once the previous steps are taken, it is a simple matter to experiment with a variety of frame shapes. It can be standard rectangular (see left) or curved such as the Lemi option above
Design Step 3 Design Step 4
It is a simple matter of clicking any shape icon to see how the image will look in a selected shape. Above is the Mia shape. After selecting a shape we like we can look at colors for the frame field and lip. We can also select the frame Finish, Clear (glossy) or Sanded (matte).
Design Step 5 Design Step 6
Here we are looking at the Clear (glossy) finish. There is also an option either Crystal Clear or Sea Green acrylic. The latter has more of a natural 'glass' look that enhances certain colors. Also in Step 2 we can choose a background pattern for our frame. The patterns range from gemetric to abstract and whimsical.
Design Step 7 Design Step 8
As we experiment with Patterns, we can zoom in on our image to see them more clearly. As we experiment with patterns, we may choose to select a new frame shape and/or color. This can be done at any time with the click of a button. When we've finished with the design process, the file is saved and the order placed. The custom manufacturing and fitting of your art into the frame takes about four weeks.
