Heritage Photography Framing
Protection, preservation, and elegant presentation of antique family photographs is one of our specialties at The Framer's Workshop. We will help you frame one photo or a whole family collection. We can assist in the coordination of a growing photo wall with antique-style frames and acid-free rag or fabric mats. No matter what style of framing you choose, we protect your photos from light damage with ultra-violet filtering glass and surround them with archival materials to resist acid damage. We invite you to bring us your treasured family heirlooms for the ultimate in design expertise and archival protection. Here are some examples of our work and design ideas to get you started. For more ideas see our Framing Examples Page.

Heritage Photo Walls. These walls display framed antique photographs from both sides of an Orinda, CA family. The photographs were framed differently to enhance their historical nature and individuality, yet they were designed as a group project so that they compliment each other. The walls flank a long hallway, and were hung so that the family could add to the framed collection over time.
