This 48 Star American Flag, along with military medals and a 1943 Naval Aviator Certification booklet is preserved in this deep shadowbox frame with a hand-wrapped fabric mat. The medals are positioned inside recesses in the mat while the flag and booklet are sewn down to 'float' on top. It is glazed with Museum Glass and framed with a dark rustic wood frame. |
