Our clients at the Oracle Arena invited us to review and make suggestions for framing at their beautiful new Courtside Club within Oracle Arena & O.co Coliseum complex. They planned to hang classic photographs from past musical concerts, and they needed to have printing and framing finished and installed by the end of the Golden State Warrior’s season, but before playoffs began. Understanding the time frame, we jumped right in to help.
As our client considered multiple bids and the options involved, we made a few trips to Oracle Arena and presented several solutions in different styles and price points. After photographing and measuring this elegant Courtside Club, we offered four display options to coordinate with the sparkly silver tones in the designer wallpaper and furnishings: Traditional framing with a silver toned wood, printing on aluminum to hang without a frame, cast acrylic frames in a metallic finish, and photos laminated onto a rigid backing with silver painted edges in a float style.
Oracle Arena finalized the choice of a float style plaque because this type of presentation lets the photograph speak for itself and float on the walls with no visual interruption. The float plaque is also durable, washable, and UV resistant. An elegant solution for their impressive collection of concert photographs.
We managed to edit, print, mount, and install these photos within ten days, just in time for the beginning of playoffs at Oracle Arena. The results are impressive and our client was extremely pleased. It was a pleasure to work with executives at Oracle Arena and O.co Coliseum, and it is an honor to be able to be able to complete work for such a popular Bay Area venue.
Oracle Arena & O.co Coliseum: "The first crowd filled the O.co Coliseum on September 18, 1966. The adjacent arena celebrated its grand opening on November 9, 1966. In the following 32 years, the Oakland Alameda County Arena and Coliseum Complex has hosted a spectrum of events in both the sporting and entertainment industries including concerts, circus, boxing, rodeos, religious speakers and ice shows. Audiences numbering nearly 100 million have made O.co Coliseum and Oracle Arena the premier entertainment facilities in Northern California."
