This 1943 48 Star American Flag, along with military medals and a Naval Aviator Certification booklet is preserved in this deep shadow box fram with a hand-wrapped fabric mat. The medals are positioned inside recesses in the mat while the flag and booklet are sewn down to 'float' on top. It is glazed with Museum Glass and framed with a dark rustic wood frame. |
