Celebrating  Spring's arrival, Yoshiko Yamamoto's "Tea Blossoms" is a bright addition to her more playful illustrations. Bright white tea blossoms with golden pistils are shown being circled by fat, striped, bumble bees. These limited edition letter press prints come matted in either acid free Fern (green) or Loam (brown) top mats with a metallic gold undermatting. The blossoms contain touches of gold ink and hand applied sparkly gold powder.

Mt. Rainier White Pass, left, an equally recent limited edition triptych from Yoshiko, captures a scenic view of Mount Rainier from White Pass, Washington. See all the Yamamoto prints we carry HERE.

Yoshiko Yamamoto Motawi Tile _Ugly Duckling_ _Golden_
Yoshiko Yamamoto fuses her Japanese design sensibility with fine Craftsman style. This illustration comes from her children's love of the Hans Christian Andersen fable. Who wouldn't root for the underdog -- or an under-duck? This delightful 4 x 8 inch Motawi tile is now available for purchase online and in our shop or online.

New Motawi Tile_ Charley Harper _Puffin_
Modernist illustrator, Charley Harper, delights us with whimsical animals depicted in his characteristic, minimalist geometry. This 6 x 8 inch abstract Puffin is flying heroically over a cold, wind swept sea.

Digital Restoration Of The Month
Salvaging Family History
Restoration Of The Month
Great-great-grandmother was once a little girl. This one posed for her portrait standing in an elaborate wicker chair. Over a hundred years later the original print has yellowed, cracked, been torn in two and repaired with transparent tape. Digital restoration can erase the damage while keeping the patina of time.   Learn more about Digital Photo Restoration.
